The Punchline Academy is now hip hop’s hottest rap cypher. Add a live band element and now it’s been taken to an entirely different level!

Created by Shade 45 / SiriusXM DJ “Da Inphamus Amadeuz”. As an Instagram rap battle league during the pandemic, it as now morphed into something much more. Initially, MC’s would compete in rap battles on Instagram Live. The winners moving on to the main cypher “Sear’s Sirius Cypher” which was also created by Inphamus. After several changes at Eminem’s hip hop channel, “The Punchline Academy” took over as the main cypher, much to the liking of hip hop heads worldwide.

The weekly cypher features some of the top MC’s of the modern boom bap era. 2 rounds with rappers rapping until the mic breaks. If you followed the iGet@Em movement in general, then you remember “The Artist Spotlight Concert Series”. A Bi-Weekly hip hop showcase at Hayaty Lounge in Manhattan. The show would feature New York’s top radio djs from Dj Self, Drewski, Dj Will and more. It’s highlight however was The Chucky Cheese Band or @ccbandofficial which would play hip hop beats live and give artist a chance to spit their best bars on set. It was only a matter of time before that element would be incorporated with Punchline.
