The Punchline Academy Is Raps Top Cypher

March 13, 2023 by iGet@Em Media Group

The Punchline Academy is now hip hop’s hottest rap cypher. Add a live band element and now it’s been taken to an entirely different level!

Created by Shade 45 / SiriusXM DJ “Da Inphamus Amadeuz”. As an Instagram rap battle league during the pandemic, it as now morphed into something much more. Initially, MC’s would compete in rap battles on Instagram Live. The winners moving on to the main cypher “Sear’s Sirius Cypher” which was also created by Inphamus. After several changes at Eminem’s hip hop channel, “The Punchline Academy” took over as the main cypher, much to the liking of hip hop heads worldwide.

The Punchline Academy LIVE with Da Inphamus Amadeuz, Lil Dee, Pettyy, Snyp Life & @ccbandofficial

The weekly cypher features some of the top MC’s of the modern boom bap era. 2 rounds with rappers rapping until the mic breaks. Traditionally using 90s hip hop instrumentals, but recently switching over to new material, keeping the same feel but also giving producers a chance to shine in the limelight.

If you followed the iGet@Em movement in general, then you remember “The Artist Spotlight Concert Series”. A Bi-Weekly hip hop showcase at Hayaty Lounge in Manhattan. The show would feature New York’s top radio djs from Dj Self, Drewski, Dj Will and more. It’s highlight however was The Chucky Cheese Band or @ccbandofficial which would play hip hop beats live and give artist a chance to spit their best bars on set. It was only a matter of time before that element would be incorporated with Punchline.

The stage was set at The Sultan Room in Brooklyn. Hip hop’s hottest cypher reconnecting with NYC’s top band to create a moment in hip hop history. We look forward to seeing more! Watch the video below and see all cyphers here on youtube

Listen to The Punchline Academy Thursdays at 2pm EST / 11a PT on Shade 45 / SiriusXM

Misommunication 97′ Piff Mix [Video]

Miscommunication [97 Piff Mix]  The Army has returned. With the successful release of their self titled debut album “The Army (Verbal Warfare)”, the group / label has been on a roll.

With the success of “The Primetime Tour” and their first 2 singles “The Army” & “Tony Montana” and official 3rd single has been released with a bit of a twist! Powered by @97Piff the ground brings their ‘Miscommunication’ vocals over Group Home’s “Supa Star” beat.

Why is this important?

Much of what we have seen from Get@Em Recordz gives us a feeling hip hop has been missing. Uptempo drums and the smell of good ol’ ‘Dyckman Haze’ in the air. What hip hop also needs, is to get back to making records that go beyond a street corner. Da Inphamus Amadeuz has been leading the charge, with the entire label following

The Army (Verbal Warfare) album is finally here. The Get@Em Recordz  project is exactly what we expected. 15 Tracks of dope lyrical records. Something hip hop desperately needs

The mastermind behind the project. Shade 45 / SiriusXm radio personality “Da Inphamus Amadeuz” has been teasing the album for sometime now. After releasing songs from hip hop veterans Paula Perry, Grand Daddy IU, Jaz-O & more. He officially announced the album during the Sept 30th edition of “The Drunk Mix”

THE ARMY (VERBAL WARFARE)

The project has an all-star hip hop cast. House hold names like Styles P, the late Prodigy of Mobb Deep & Benny The Butcher all appearing on songs. We also get a glimpse of what the actual Get@Em Recordz roster looks like. With impressive efforts from Snyp Life, Blaze Gee, Ricky Bats & others. Of course “The Army” at its core, delivered classics. From Blazin, Party G The Humble, Lazaris The Top Don, Epull, Brian J and more.

According to Amadeuz, during an interview at WBRK Star 101.7FM. “The Army” is a super group of everyone involved in Get@Em Recordz. With main members and affiliates. On the production hip hop producer Castle Money Beats hard hitting drums can be felt on several songs throughout the project.

Ty Bandit produces the highly favorite “Miscommunication”. Da Inphamus Amadeuz providing 3 tracks including the single “The Army”. Also, there is no “Boom Bap” efforts these days without dj cuts by Tone Spliff. Although we got a surprise cut session from “Boogie Blind” former member of the dj supergroup “The X-Cutioner’s”

Take a look at one of the visuals off of the new project. Also be sure to check out “The Army (Verbal Warfare)” here: https://www.smarturl.it/verbalwarfare

Bronx MC “BLVD”

The bi-lingual song, which features a classic caribbean beat and catchy chorus sets the tone. The verse, which is in half Spanish & half English shows the diversity of the artist. It also feels like the right time. With the growing latin and afro beat market exploding like never before, this song feels like the perfect fit

BLVD is no stranger to the music scene. The seasoned vet already has several singles on digital streaming platforms. Most notable “Uzi” which currently has over 120,000 streams on spotify

The collaboration feels like a perfect match. 2 of the most respected MC’s on both coast on one song. It will be interesting to see how long ago the record was recorded considering the amount of time it’s been since the passing of Nipsey

The new single Jaz-O x Nipsey Hussle “Lookin’ Like” is set to drop on Friday, July 2nd

Da Inphamus Amadeuz has hit an impressive number! 250,000 streams on Spotify.

While melodic raps dominate social media, his hard hitting project “Any Day Now (The Sequel)” continues to shine. The vintage sounding hip hop album which may be one of the best releases in hp hop in the past decade, continues to thrive with fans and listeners.

Da Inphamus Amadeuz

The album which has been classified as “Lo-Fi Boom Bap” is a well rounded project. Covering topics ranging from street culture, parental issues and politics. Slick metaphors over smooth instrumentals keep the listener in tune throughout the project.

What’s more impressive, the album artwork can also been seen throughout the United States on Billboards on major highways in nearly every state making it a house hold name

Da Inphamus Amadeuz Is Hip Hop Legends New Voice

December 16, 2020 by iGet@Em Media Group

Time evolves, but so does hip hop. The ever changing the landscape of the culture has gone from breakbeats to robotic melodies and trap sounds. Leaving the lyrical legends of the past with no media outlet to spread music through. Quite frankly if you look at the hip hop media outlets of today, you wouldn’t know they even still exists. But, with the emergence of platforms such as Verzuz, hip hop legends have found a rejuvenated audience looking for old content and on the search for new music. In the mist a new voice has come to for front, giving an additional needed platform for hip hop artist.  Da Inphamus Amadeuz

Says Da Inphamus Amadeuz”. “We get a chance to have the artist walk us through their catalogs for the story behind the story. Fans get to look into their lives and see things from their perspective”
